The last few months have been the most unimaginable, never was this expected and we need to try to work our way through the next few months and stay safe along side our families! When this awful time is over I am sure there will be lots of people looking to get back into work and will want to do all that is possible to find an amazing job for them and to help them get back to normality.

Here are some top tips for writing your CV to make it stand out.

1. Keep it concise (2 pages).

2. Personalise it to the role; include in personal summary why you want this role briefly.

3. Pick 3 key achievements; include what you achieved, how you achieved it and what did you learn from the experience.

4. Check for typos and grammar errors.

5. No photos and no date of births.

6. Share your top skills along with examples.

Here’s a generic idea on order of headings for the CV. a. Name, Contact Number, Job Desired. b. Personal Summary. c. Three key achievements. d. Education e. References upon request.
